Protective rules on personal data processing

Among other things, the General Data Protection Regulation contains rules on the basic principles relating to processing of personal data and stipulates valid preconditions for permissible processing. It also contains rules on the right to information on processing and access to personal data, rules regarding correction of incorrect data and the possibilities of limiting on-going processing in some cases.

Furthermore, you have the right to access your personal data by requesting a subject access request free of charge, which contains a summary of your personal data being processed by FOREX Bank along with information on how the processing is being carried out.

To verify your identity upon such request, we will send you the information by way of registered mail. In addition, you may also request rectification of incorrect data, erasure of data no longer needed or relevant for processing or limitation of processing to halt specific instance of personal data processing.

Direct Marketing

At any time and free of charge, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for purposes of direct marketing send-outs. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

For example, FOREX Bank processes personal data to provide the services you request and to be able to manage banking operations and related functions. Customer “agreements” between you and FOREX Bank, relate to your use of a service provided by us such as application for and use of private banking account, savings account, online banking service, mobile device banking service, bank or credit card, private loan, loan insurance, currency, online currency and currency exchange services as well as other services. For your and our staff’s safety, we choose to use camera surveillance in our stores. The material is only used to prevent, stop and investigate crimes or suspicion thereof. The material may be handed to authorities.

We follow the EU rules and regulations for how recordings can be made and the material used. The recordings go on 24 hours a day and in some special cases, sound recordings are also made. The material is stored for 90 days.
